20 of 248 matching models shown. Equal displayed retention percentages are tied; when sorting by retention, lower dollar losses appear first within a tie. Representative configurations use the newest available model year and its lowest available captured starting price. They do not represent every trim or a price you can necessarily buy today. An EV or hybrid SUV can be classified by powertrain.

How these projections are made Sources & dates
Each model starts at the displayed representative Canadian price, applies its category curve and uses a limited model adjustment when eligible Omnia asking-price cohorts support it. Category-only results can tie. No extra brand multiplier is applied.
These are new-car planning projections before selling costs, taxes and financing. They are not measured resale rankings or dealer trade-in offers. Actual condition, equipment, incentives and future supply can change the amount you receive.

A LITTLE MORE CONTEXT
Good questions to ask.
Is this a ranking of proven resale winners?
No. It ranks this site’s available new-car models by projected retention or dollars lost under the selected assumptions. Category curves and limited Canadian asking-price evidence inform the model; this is not an award or a study of actual resale transactions.
Why does a model appear only once?
A model appears once using an available representative priced configuration so models with more listed trims do not dominate the results. The row identifies the configuration and price used.
Why do some models have the same retention?
Models can share the same category curve when there is not enough eligible model evidence to distinguish them. Equal modelled percentages do not establish equal resale performance.
